Sarah Hunter is an interdisciplinary creative and thinker originally trained in landscape architecture who has practiced internationally. Deeply driven by ethics and a vision for a better future she has a world view which places human [and non-human] experience and perception at the centre. She is convinced that design and good public policy has a play a critical role in solving the wicked problems of our age.
Sarah was educated at the University of Melbourne, Edinburgh College of Art, and L’Université de Perpignan in France, and joined the Ecole Nationale Superiéure d'Architecture de Bordeaux for the prestigious ‘BMB’ program.
Much of Sarah’s current research relates to design and management work on her regenerative farm in the Nillumbik Green Wedge (Wurundjeri country). Outside of her research Sarah is involved in social and environmental justice advocacy. Sarah is interested in understanding and leveraging subjective experience, emotion, and perspective to achieve change and make the world a better place.
